The Tucumã Operation is located in Pará State, Brazil, within the world-class Carajás Mineral Province. Tucumã is an iron oxide copper gold (IOCG) deposit developed as an open-pit mine, with ore processed at the only copper sulphide processing facility in the western Carajás. The mill, designed to treat 4.0 million tonnes of ore annually, uses a conventional three-stage crushing circuit and ball mill comminution process, followed by flotation to produce a high-grade copper concentrate for shipment to smelters worldwide. The first saleable copper concentrate was produced in July 2024, and commercial production was achieved on July 1, 2025.
